Executive Board Calls for McKeon's expulsion at the Nebraska Legislature

The  second session of the 109th Nebraska Legislature began with a message from Ben Hansen, Chairman of the Executive Board. He has released findings to the legislature regarding an investigation into a case of workplace harassment against District 41 Senator Dan McKeon. 

Hansen is calling for McKeon's expulsion from the Legislature. If a procedural matter passes, there will be a hearing on the matter Monday. 

The hearing will be limited to invited testimony only from Senator McKeon or his legal representative and the legal counsel who conducted the investigation.   McKeon has pleaded not guilty to a charge of disturbing the peace in Lancaster County after an incident following the 2025 legislative session.
